COVID-19 Impact on Technical and Vocational Education and Training in Sri Lanka

Prior to the pandemic, there was an adoption rate of 36 per cent for online learning in Sri Lanka. The brief notes that 60 cent-70 major technical and vocational education training (TVET) courses continued via since [Coronavirus Disease 2019] COVID-19 outbreak. However, quality could drop significantly due difficulty conducting practical lack internet access digital devices. In addition, TVET graduates tourism hospitality sector as well self-employed have been hardest hit.
